Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How much notice do I need to place an order?
     A. For cakes other than tiered cakes orders should be placed by noon on Wednesday... If a cake is for Friday or Saturday of the same week, we ask that the order be placed by noon that Wednesday. On a tiered cake please allow one week minimum preferably two weeks in advance.   note:  During our prime season (wedding, graduation, Christmas, Easter) we require a minimum of two week's notice on tiered cakes and 1 week on other orders.

Q. How do I place an order?
     A. All orders must be placed either in person or by phone. Conversations via email or other social media does not confirm an order. 

Q. Do you ship?
     A.  We can ship our cookies but our cakes don't travel well with the exception of the Rainbow Cake.

Q. Do you make bread?
     A. No, we are a cake business with the exception of some specialty items. 

Q. Do you deliver?
     A. Yes, with advance notice of at least 24-48 hours and a $15 minimum. Please note delivery charges apply.
         *Wedding cakes are an exception.

Q. How much is a cake?
    A. Without knowing exactly what you want it's difficult to give an exact price. We can give you a base price depending on size cake and servings needed. We suggest you bring in photos of what you're looking for so that we quote you based on your decorating needs.

Q. Can you tell me how much wedding cakes are?
     A. Due to the fact that our pricing has so many variables on wedding and tiered cakes we will not quote you a price over the phone. We offer you a complimentary consultation where you will be able to taste our cake and filling options. At the time of your consultation we can discuss your budget needs and create a design that will fit your budget. Providing a base price is not accurate as we offer options that we are sure will satisfy you more than quoting you over the phone. 

Q. Do you require a deposit on cake orders?
     A. Wedding and tiered cakes require $100 non-refundable deposit at the time of your order and balance must be paid two weeks prior to event. All other orders over $60 require a 20% non-refundable deposit and balance is due at pick up. We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.

Q. Do you deliver and set up wedding cakes?
     A. Yes, we do deliver within 100 miles and delivery charges are based on mileage. Cupcake set up at additional cost.

Q. Do you offer complimentary tastings for all cakes?
     A. No, if your cake will serve over 75 people we do. We do offer a large selection of cupcakes in our case for purchase.

Q. Do all of your cakes come boxed?
     A. Unfortunately, larger cakes may not come in a box. Please prepare your vehicle for transportation with your cake sitting on a flat surface, not on a seat.  

Q. Do you offer gluten free or other dietary restricted products?
     A. We can provide you with Gluten Free product with advanced orders. Occasionally we have products in our case to select from. Be aware that our facility environment does contain gluten so we don't suggest our product for consumption with a stick dietary requirement. 
     Sugar Free? No, unfortunately we do not specialize in that.
     Dairy Free? We offer vegan cake options. Must be pre-ordered.

Q. Can I call ahead to reserve items for pickup later in the day?
     A. Yes, with pre-payment by credit card we would be happy to hold those items. (Unfortunately, due to the fact that we have had issues with customers not picking up their orders we require pre-payment. We apologize for any inconvenience.)  

Q.  If I cancel an order, can I get a refund on my deposit?

       A.  No we cannot refund your deposit.  A deposit is required to hold that date.  In many cases, other orders have been denied as we       can only prepare a certain number of orders.  If you cancel your order, we cannot guarantee that the space can be filled.
